Jim was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to St. Louis in July 1992 to go to seminary. He joined the New City staff as part-time music director from the 1st worship service and served until 2001. After serving in Philadelphia and in Lima, Peru the Lord guided him and his family to St. Louis and New City once again. He serves as the Latino Ministry Director and also an Assistant pastor with the House Churches, Visitors and Adult Education. He and Sara have 3 children.
